It's not too late to catch Common Ground!!

Dear Friends and Family,
For all you theater loving fans I know it’s a very busy time with so many Broadway and Off-Broadway shows to see. Last night, I went to see Lempicka (yes, I liked it!) and it was great to hear an announcement at the beginning of the show thanking the audience who were there supporting a new musical. I love new musicals and started TADA! to commission new musicals to be performed by young actors.
I want to remind you that TADA! currently has a new musical running through Saturday, May 11th. We’re closing on Saturday since Sunday is Mother’s Day and our RYET families have asked to have that day off – well, the mother’s did. Common Ground is our first World Premiere Musical since COVID! You still have three more opportunities to see it live in the TADA! Theater. The performance on the 10th has a talkback that we’re super excited about. This show is for an older audience – we recommend 11 and older. It is definitely one that adults love. You can get your tickets here.
“Amid the controversy over border policy, its sometimes forgotten that immigrants are distinct individuals and not mere statistics. In its first two act musical, TADA! Youth Theater gives the humanity of newly arrived adolescents center stage. Performed with heartfelt conviction by its diverse young cast.” – Laurel Graeber, NY Times

Not only do we have our first 2-act musical performed by a teen cast, we also just held TADA!’s 39th Anniversary Celebration – our major fundraising event of this season. It was a wonderful evening. Thank you to the amazing staff of TADA! for all their hard work. The RYET members did a fabulous performance – singing songs from the TADA! repertoire as well as a medley of Broadway songs and end with TADA!’s Thank You Song.

If you missed celebrating with us, you can still help us reach our financial goal. Even though it was a great event, we still came in $11,500 short. Are you able to make a contribution now?
I hope to see you at the theater!
Best,

Janine Nina Trevens
