Dear Friends and Family, 

In the last note I told you that I was turning 65…and guess what? I did! There’s been a number of birthdays at TADA! over the last couple of months. Some people like to ignore getting older, but I’m more like the kids who get excited for their birthdays. I had a fantastic party – where I even danced (if you know me that is rare – I didn’t even have dancing at my wedding).

Celebrating is fun! We will be celebrating TADA!’s 41st Anniversary Gala on Sunday, April 26th at the Edison Ballroom. Keep a lookout in your inbox for updates on Honoree, Host, and Broadway Guest Performers! No, I will not be dancing at this event – no worries! 

In NYC this week school is off for winter break, but it’s not a break at TADA!. In fact, we’re still very busy. In Rehearsal Room #1 is our first K-Pop Weeklong Musical Theater School Break Camp. In Rehearsal Room #2 are various staff meetings and rehearsals. And then down on the 2nd floor in the theater rehearsals and tech for Everything About School (almost) are happening. 

And all of that is just what’s happening with our young people! The staff are super busy as well, preparing for opening night of Everything About School (almost) next Saturday, February 28th. The show runs through March 22nd with performances Fridays at 7pm and Saturday and Sundays at 2pm and 4:30pm. If none of those times work for you, we also have one school day show on Wednesday, March 4th at 10:30am. Just let me know if you’d like to come to that performance and I will reserve your tickets. 

The Education Department is continuing work with our school partners on many in-school residencies and after-school programs. Also, you know our slogan, right? WHEN SCHOOL IS OUT TADA! IS IN! We have two weeklong camps in March (Labubu and K-Pop themed) and our final school break weeklong is in April! Weeklong Camps are not just for school breaks – there are different camps every week from June 15th – September 4th. Click here to register! There are lots of opportunities for you to get involved at TADA! by joining one of the events mentioned in this note. Also, if you are so inclined and want to help  – we need auction items for both the live and silent auction at the Gala. We’re also selling program ads for the Gala program if you’d like to congratulate TADA!. Please let me know.
