

Fresh Classes, New Approaches, Endless Fun!
TADA! is evolving! We’ve re-imagined our musical theater programs for students ages 4–14, growing our signature ensemble-based approaches with expanded class offerings, giving students more ways to explore musical theater skills & techniques at a wider variety of levels. Our classes are designed to nurture creativity, confidence, and collaboration, spark a lifelong interest in the performing arts, and offer students the tools to shine on stage and in life!
What’s New?

This semester, students will:
Classes meet in Fall (10-week) and Winter/Spring (13-week) semesters, in-person at 15 W. 28th Street (between Broadway & 5th), and culminate in final sharings for an invited audience of loved ones. Limited spots are available—join us to discover your voice, your skills, and your stage!
ACT 1, BROADWAY KIDS – Ages 4-6: GOTTA SING! GOTTA DANCE!
Creativity takes center stage in this gentle, playful intro to musical theater. Our youngest learners jump into the action with fun games, imaginative activities, and lively songs & dances from kid-friendly Broadway shows & TADA!’s original musicals written specifically for young voices. Children explore singing, rhythm, basic movement, and simple storytelling in a joyful, confidence-boosting environment, developing their abilities to listen, follow directions, cooperate with peers, and understand basic emotions – the foundations of character – onstage and in life! Kids end the semester by showcasing their new skills in a feel-good sharing for their favorite grownups!

ACT 2, RISING STARS – Ages 6-9: GOTTA SING! GOTTA DANCE!
Building on the basics, this upbeat and active class takes kids further into the world of musical theater. Students are introduced to projection, rhythm, diction, and breath support, through spirited games and group vocal work on songs from favorite Broadway shows & TADA!’s original musicals written specifically for young voices. Fun physical warm ups and dynamic choreography spark learning about stage directions and foundational dance technique. Along the way, students strengthen focus, coordination, teamwork, and social skills, and finish the semester ready to confidently shine in a final sharing for family and friends! Song selections are tailored to age, skill, and interest.

ACT 3, SPOTLIGHT SQUAD – Ages 9-13: GOTTA SING! GOTTA DANCE!
Step it up! Young Broadway enthusiasts sharpen technique, teamwork, and confident self-expression in this dynamic class that builds on the core components of musical theater: singing, dance, and acting. Act 3 students begin integrating all three, tackling more complex vocal and movement material from show-stopping Broadway hits and exclusive TADA! original musicals written expressly for young voices. We focus on vocal tone, pitch, dynamics, and blending, dive into intricate choreography, and explore acting with bold physical and emotional expression. Along the way, talents blossom, friendships grow, and confidence soars! The semester concludes with a high-energy sharing for an invited audience, showcasing students growing artistry, stage presence, and creativity. Song selections are tailored to age, skill, and interest.

CREATE YOUR OWN MUSICAL– AGES 8-12: CURTAIN UP!
Write it! Rehearse it! PREMIERE IT! From idea to stage, students team up to co-create an original mini-musical. Through improvisation and playful creativity, they dream up characters, settings, and wild events, transform them into a script, write song lyrics that move the story forward, cast themselves as the stars, and bring their show to life for family and friends at semester’s end! This class blends musical theater training, storytelling, and pure fun, sparking imagination, sharpening creative problem-solving, and strengthening collaboration skills—all while helping young artists grow as confident, inventive performers.
